What we need is better players 13:59 - Nov 10 with 2128 views | T_Block | Marti cifuentes is a good manager.OK on this board there are always someone who will disagree like a petulant 15 year old, but we ,on balance know Martin and his team are of the required calibre. The issue is the players, specifically the attack and lack of goals. Defence is good, issue is injuries. Midfield is ok Attack is poor The answer is new players. It is very very hard for a team to go out week after week knowing goals are a problem. I am sure Marti has told Nourry what the issues are .His job is to get the right loans in. Calm down and do what fans do and support the team as we have been doing

What we need is better players on 15:04 - Nov 10 with 1897 views | LazyFan | We let Dykes and Armstrong go for good reasons. Dykes is 29 and was getting worse, we got money for him. He cannot get in Brum team at all as real forwards are ahead of him. Armstrong was out of contract; we got money for him. Also, noticeable that Brizzle have dropped him to the bench and are playing Wells and now rising up the table. Sometimes its not always bring in new players are new players like Brum did last season and sank hard. However we brought in Celar who has not delivered ... and that's it. We replaced 2 with 1. So, we are 1 forward down. And its noticeable. I suppose the idea was that LLoyd or Kohlli would come good. Well, we have seen they are not ready for various reasons. You can see the thinking as worked a little last season with Armstrong. But it was a mistake. Now we need to get in forward so we are back to having at least 3 known forwards. Then we have Willock replacement in Demblele. Doing no worse than Willock, but now injured (just like Willock then). But worse Andersen legs are slower (not totally gone but he's slower) so, the game passes him by a lot. So, we are now still short of a Willock type player to hold it up and get it up the field and create something. Saito was supposed to be the backup to them. however he's had to play in many positions as Chair was out and also the left side has been totally crocked. Madsen was supposed to be the creative player here, as we can see the game passes him by totally. So, we need another creative player. I suspect we shall get two loans in for Jan, one forward and another creative player (someone who players wing and also amc). Until then, its battern down the hatches, try and get what we can from what we can and suffer Ainsworth type park the bus football until players come back from injury. Chair wont be back until December so, Jan then. This means actually its all on Saito and Andersen and Smyth attacking wise. Hopefully Frey comes back battling Luton style and then we might actually have a chance!

Now Mr T, Personally I don’t disagree with you diagnosis, but I would caution categorising anyone who disagrees with you as either petulant or 15! Plus let’s be clear there are no new faces coming until January, if at all, so Martí and Co need a miracle or two. So here’s one.. Celar scores his first international goal and returns renewed!

Couldn’t agree more. Watched the Liverpool, Villa highlights. Pace won the game for Liverpool. Lightning quick . I know it’s a different galaxy in comparison to championship but we are just so lacking any pace whatsoever. We need to replicate it on the level we are at . Analytics obviously don’t factor in pace it seems.

We have down-graded considerably on Willock & Dykes, both of who were key to keeping us in this division the last 2 seasons We are bang in trouble. No word salad will change that, Sometimes it's easier to say you called it wrong. Brum spent £35m in the close season, £10m in the permanent signing of one forward. Kevin Gallen believes Frey should be a 3rd choice 2nd forward for the last 20 minutes, I'm not sure I'd be hanging my hat on him keeping us up.

Exactly pace and physicality are the strengths needed in this league and in top flight football generally and the ability to transition from defence to attack in three or four passes. Look at Boro's 3rd goal last Tuesday perfect example, QPR just don't or arn't capable of playing that way we take about 10 passes left to right, back and forth. Yes the players are not up to it and the Championship is now passing us by.
What we need is better players on 20:54 - Nov 10 with 1189 views | ParkRoyalR | What we need is better players...I think you've stumbled on something here... Cifuentes is unproven in the Championship and has to my knowledge never won anything as a Manager, Yet somehow it's petulant to question his involvement is signing the likes of Madsen & Celar, I cannot believe he has had no input on these signings and has left it 100% to Nourry & Belk.
What we need is better players on 23:50 - Nov 10 with 1019 views | connell10 | What do you mean calm down and support the club? The only bloody thing good about our club over the past few years had been the fans!! We have been patient, turned up home and away , and been vocal with our support of this shower of shite!! I think the players deserve both barrels from the fans next home game if they put in another pathetic performance!!

When the injured players return I fully expect our form and results to improve. One slight little problem is these players remaining fit throughout the remainder of the season.

While we're writing to Santa, we might as well go all in and request: TFL strike free assurances on match days, superior merch, Michelin standard in-stadia dining, better win rate and above the median line of success delivery while we're at it. Already looking forward to seeing you Armani clad Rfosi in Ducasse's Bistro des Hoops at the Maltrade Bernabau to cheer on Jude, Kylian wearing the B&W against Stoke. Why the f..k we didn't think of this before, I'll never know!!!

What we need is better players on 11:25 - Nov 11 with 634 views | YokelR | Watching Ipswich beat Spurs thing that struck me is how much effort they put in. Chasing, shutting down, not giving up on things, sticking their head in where it hurts. These are all things our team could be doing regardless of their footballing abilities or it appears their lack of them for several? Not their fault someone offered them a big bag of cash to come here but is their fault they hide and won't try? Cancel training and show them 90 minutes of Ipswich and ask them to show some self-respect next match. Maybe get our esteemed dof to sit in too?
