Perhaps Low had lapse of concentrations during games given some of the distractions around him.
Who knows what goes through players minds, just a little observation on Darling thinking, when Naughton played on the left and Darling knew, if the ball was played over the top or in behind Naughton, that he would have to keep in a position to cover for Naughton's lack of pace covering well but Darling didn't seem cover Tymon's forward run as effectively leaving space for wingers to run onto the ball, Cabango does it very effectively on the right.Darling when knew he had to cover for Naughton he did but seemed to be caught in two minds when Tymon pressed on. As players you can never assume that mistakes won't be made and they need to cover all eventualities. Sometimes Darling makes that mistake call it inexperience maybe Low has the same mistakes with the distractions around him.
Darling is a far more experienced player now than when he joined us. | | | |
