QPR full of festive cheer, but is Boro after the Lord Mayor’s show? Preview 19:44 - Dec 12 with 1618 viewsNorthernr

Preview here, I'm aware we're having trouble with horribly intrusive adverts in copy, I'm pressing for those to be removed. Apologies in the meantime.

I'd love at least a point tomorrow, but if we don't get that then we need to at least put in a good performance

From the ultimate Henry V''s:- "Jumpers for Longbows" speech at Agincourt - and also In the spirit of Sir Alec of Stock;- "Just bloody go for it - and see what happens!"

Backed up by the West Paddock Infantry - shouting "Tell me we're wrong", from the spirit of Wembley 67 and the South Africa Road gents urinals too:- "Ave it"

I enjoyed this week of course, but I don't really expect anything tomorrow.

3-1 Boro.

For some happy reason YouTube surprised me with an excellent video of you and a lovely girl from Boro going over the game I really enjoyed it .
Very honest from you Clive and she seemed really cool but was quick to pick her team when you mentioned Verane and Madsen .I wish she would read your section on Verane after the Brum game she would die laughing it was superb.
I think we can get a result here after the magic of Tuesday

Agree, we are starting to get glimpses of what QPR will be like under JS. It's a season to early to get excited about playoff pushes etc, but the evolution of the team and style is very welcome after the long slog of previous seasons.
The last three home games could be a turning point for this squad in terms of them showing their resilience, both physically and mentally.

This is probably a game to far though, but we need to see a good performance.

Poll: How is Nourry cooking so far ? 🤣

Probably favour Boro to win it. Just hope we put in a performance, rather than how we were meek and lacklustre at Norwich. For Rangers if go a goal up stand a chance of coming away with something.

Great preview as always, thanks.

I said before on a previous thread that one of the things that I liked about JS was was what he said about player making mistakes. I didn’t interpret that as we’re going to conceded goals. For me it was about how he will encourage players to play and build confidence. I like it and I think it’s working, you only have to look at Marty Madsen vs Julien Madsen. I know this is one of those unquantifiable things, but I feel Julien has a much better vibe than Marty. Granted, the squad is a different, but there’s a much better feeling this season than last. Interesting that you found him to be charismatic, I did not get that impression at all. I can’t put my finger on it, but I never had a good feeling about him.

Tuesday was amazing and intense. I don’t know how much that took out of the team, but I hope it’s given them the confidence and belief in their ability to win a game. Let’s not forget, a much worse QPR team beat a very good Burnley team away, it does happen, even for us!
