Who's Here In 2026? 12:48 - Jan 14 with 867 viewsDaniel

With the news that some members sadly passed away in 2025 (and others have chosen to leave), I thought it might be nice to check who's still around. We have plenty of lurkers, and the Happy League remains popular, but not so many contributors to posts these days.

Drop a quick reply if you're still reading the forum in 2026!

(Apologies for the title - it's something I often see in YouTube comments when revisiting old videos, and thought it was appropriate!)

I'm still around and predicting The U's results inaccurately. I hope I continue the trend this weekend at Bristol Rovers.

RSCOSWORTH reporting for duty.

I feel that the majority of posters have been here for a good number of years with relatively few new members. Do we want to attract new members and bigger numbers though? I already have to deal with a fair number of plonkers on Facebook when talking about Col U and I've always enjoyed the community like feel of this forum.

Poll: How many polls will Leadbelly do this season?

Kia ora e te whānau,

It's good to here different views on The U's (ohhh, look at me rhyming!), Facebook, Official Col U messageboard and The U'sual give me different view points on the same subject ( Col U).

Always a shame to lose regular posters (Durham, TooT and Burnsie recently), but with that others come along (Crash and MarkyMark) - bring back SicFrank, his "different" opion livened up the place for a few weeks

likewise.
As an exile, like many on here, I am grateful for the forum giving me a link to my team.

I’ve been here a long time. Don’t contribute too much. As an exile I check here and the official forum most days. I get to 1 or 2 games a year. I was at the MK game and witnessed Jack Payne’s fantastic celebration. My next game will probably be Newport away as it’s relatively close to me.

2025 was a sad year concerning the loss of such well known forum members. I’m sure there are many lurkers that used to read Durham’s match day write ups. Durham would be delighted I’m sure that so many of you have taken to the challenge of continuing his good work. Thank you.

I wish TOOT would return as I miss his contributions.

I'm still here and like many others exiled in Sunny Swansea
I tried to see the U's called off game, at the beginning of 2026 but the cold got in the way
Agreed 2025 was a bad year for the U'sual but thankfully not for the U's
2026 may well prove a sad year for me if Newport cannot survive as this is my closest away fixture

Up the play-off chasing U's

I’ve been lurking longer than the bailiffs outside Ron Martins house.

Sorry please excuse my bad grammar
Should have had a comma somewhere in that sentence!
I clearly need to have a re-read of the book "Eats shoots and leaves "

It's quite hard living in Wales as a proud England supporter!
Seriously tho this message board has become more useful since the move, keeping me up-to-date on the events of the Jobserve from afar

Having not seen live U's match since Newport away last season I was looking forward to seeing the home game v Accrington to see the BWA flags etc
