They really emptied the stadium when the 3rd went in. My they are poor, that side will struggle to get promoted from the championship if they come down.

I would say it was a business back in the 70s when Ardiles and Villa joined Spurs in 78 just after winning the WC.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Depending on when it is it wouldn't surprise me if we sold out. A newish stadium and a weekend in London what's not to like.

A different opinion on Ardilles v Tommy Smith, as told to be by an ex-Swans player. He said Ardilles was the hard man in that contest. Tommy Smith was bullying him from the start, literally 10 seconds in, but Ardilles wasn't intimidated at all. He continued to play a quite beautiful game. He never shied away from anything. He had total respect for Ardillas from that moment on.

No doubt, but the times in that game Ardiles received the ball with his back to play saw him continuously glancing behind him after Tommy managed his expectations. Spurs were intimidated from the off. The NB was baying for blood. The away game was an indicator as to what was about to happen at the Swans.

We already had momentum building, but that put us into overdrive.
