Top Gear is not his programme, although 'the twee three' have certainly helped in its rise in popularity. Not street cred, more leafy avenue cred.
He started going to watch The Money Launderers because of his sons misguided alliegence over the last few years. One of the new Chelsea that even my old Chelsea mates despise.
He hasn't got a f.ucking clue about many things, especially football, just read his Sunday Times column. Then compare it to the excellent Hugh McIlvaney or even the irritating but often funny AA Gill, a sharper version of him.
Do you remember his eponymous chat show? Only topped in its dreadfulness by the comical 'Davina'. At least 'Stacey Dooley Investigates' is only shown on BBC3.
