Simmo is right, this is QPR, don't ever forget. For the first year in living memory our pre-season looked well organised early on, against decent opposition and in good locations. If something looks too good to be true with Rangers, it generally is.
Playing Ingolstadt, if true, is better than playing Chievo for me. They are Audi town/city, and walked the German second division last year, so Seb Polter played against them for Union.
