Did anyone get any pics from the beam back? Everyone I know was at the game.
I was at the beam back, on the pitch after the game! Must have been a few thousand at LR! Didn’t occur to me then to hang around Shepherds Bush for you guys to get back ☹️

Was also at Loftus Rd for the beam back. From memory I an sure it was 8k.
20 years...wow....remember it so well. Was at the beamback. Joyous fans breaking out with champagne on the pitch in front of the screen just before the end. Great night in Shepherd's Bush afterwards.

Was listening on a radio, while walking around an amphitheatre in Fiesole, just outside Florence
Remember like yesterday, pre match drinks in the Yorkshire Grey pub in the town & what a bunch of Kunts they’re fans were after. AKUTR’s Dave Thomas worse day as a fan as well.
Bristol score kept getting put up by Sheffield which really grated. Richard Johnson was great, so calm on the ball and just what we needed to get us up.

Another one at the beam back. Great day. I loved that team.
Hammersmith Town Hall a few days later was absolute carnage Can’t recall how I got hold of our tickets but whoever decided to give out free cans of Stella at that didn’t have their thinking head on.
Christ they were halcyon days….. from the depths of darkness Ollie built us back So good
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
I was at the game courtesy of Bill Power who got me a ticket, God bless him. Does anyone know what happened to Bill? I hope he's well.
I just rewatched the second half, so nostalgic, but amazing how much I'd forgotten about the game, for example, the fact that Richard Edgehill even played for us! And how baggy are those shirts? What a day that was.
Watched the open-topped bus parade from the roof of the Bushranger. As the yoot would say nowadays, absolute scenes.
fantastic day, went with the lsa, stopped off in rotherham for a few light ales before the game.... must of had 8 coaches.... got to the ground, massive queue just for the off licence outside the away end. not sure about the hatred for us that day from them, they seem to have wanted bristol city to go up for some reason, perhaps its because we flooded them with 8,000 of our finest. but anyways, a great day, and ended up in the pavillion for a massive celebration. never to be forgotten.
That day ranks up there with the best of QPR days. Good laugh on the way up bumping into plenty of Rs fans in the motorway services followed by one of the loudest away supports I've ever witnessed. The palace irrupted when we scored the first and went even more mental when Furz slotted home the 2nd. Bobby scoring at Wembley will always be up there as an instant moment in time but for me the season under Ollie getting out of the 3rd tier was one of the best
Been here since 1984. Now THAT is what you call punishment
20 years? Crikey. I wore my retro top to that one. I’ve never worn it since. Was lucky enough to be about 10 rows back in the upper tier and right behind the goal. It was SO loud.

Haha yes I remember those towers of cans of Stella - not even sure they all got drank!!
I listened to this in my extremely compact Brooklyn flat during the great days of dial up. The year before my then girlfriend had sat through the Cardiff final with a bottle of champagne at the ready. She left me to my depression at the final whistle and only mentioned later she'd had it with her. Was quite touched.
For this one I had a 6-pack of Becks ready and ended up starting on it at half time once results were looking good. A great day that was hard to explain to local people at the time, partly due to the 6 beers before noon. Amazing to think how long ago it all was.
