Always happy for people to discuss our news wherever they want, as long as it is civil and not threatening then chat away. It’s a matter of decent manners to discuss things objectively. I think Burchnall may well have been a name thought about, Montague knows him, but really his managerial record is non league and he was fired at Forest Green. I’m not sure that puts him in good standing for this job. Very risky.

If I was a gambling man I would say our chairman is currently in work at a lower positioned club.
But is also doing some ground work prior to coming here.
Agents and serious mangers would need the bigger position.
The club need to start talking to us and giving us assurances that things are coming together.

Rob Edwards took a very limited Luton side to the Premier league. There is plenty of reasons to appoint a good coach. I would like to see a manager from Europe which can bring 3-4 cheap player he knows with skill. Norwich and Huddersfield brought in good strong German players. Laudrup did this at Swansea with La liga talent .
The trouble with buying potential is that it takes time and might never happen. |  |
