It needs to go back to reporting the news not offering the opinion of presenters on every news item.
The two resignations are completely justified, they have presided over this for months whereas they should been sacked or suspended months ago. The lack of acknowledgement that both individuals have given in their resignation notices that they believe that they have presided over any wrongdoing speaks volumes.
The individuals who spliced together the Panorama material should be named, shamed & even prosecuted as what they have done is surely bordering on some sort of crime ? They deserve everything that Trump throws at them, though I fully expect that it will be the public who pays the price

We're not talking about some one man band with a CB radio base station with a handful of participants ,this is an international broadcaster with responsibility to its listeners /viewers to provide an impartial reporting of the facts. How many posters on here focus on where the report/story comes from and with it a sense in believing it's authenticity , this story is one of too many from a Broadcaster who should and used to know better.

Just shut the dinosaur down and we can all move on. There are enough TV and news channels now why should we pay a licence fee just support this out of date institution. There are so many and too many examples as to why the BBC should be treated just like any other broadcaster, when you have for example Hugh Edwards or Saville another both protected even though it was known what they had and were doing , or Nick Robinson a well known reporter who works for the BBC coming out in an interview defending it when he should again be impartial in his comments. Their reporting about Gaza or the fact that they have to have a LBGTQ head reporter says more of its views and opinions . Hopefully this will be the catalyst in which we see a total review of what the BBC stands for and with it change so badly needed.

Just seen some stats showing how biased the BBC is towards Israel (I'm all facts and figures me, Welsh based experts found the same thing a decade ago), yet this ex Rupert Murdoch Sunday Times political editor thinks differently, hmm.

The UN says there was a genocide going on in Gaza. I believe them. I believe the have represented the situation accurately without showing charred bodies of babies.
The chanting of some rapper is pretty irrelevant and caught the mood of British people. Rappers sung bad words all the time. Most mysogenistic stuff. It did not please the Isreali government but who give a damn about them? A brutal foreign military force engaged in genocide and ethnic cleansing and causing the Western World a lot of problems.
I would like to compare this genocide with a European genocide but it is prohibited in UK law. Back then many British people concerned themselves with trivial details probably.
Pro Isrealis Brits are most anti immigration for Asylum seekers. Isreal wants to move out about 4m people off what they call their land. Europe is the most likely destination and also UK if they get their way.

Reading posts on social media lots of people think the Beeb heads are all Tories and Israel supporters, the list of well known people is huge, Tory this, Israel that, Mossad the other.
One recent thing I was reminded off was Boris Johnson a couple of years ago allegedly drunk at the cenotaph edited out with the Beeb showed him laying a wreath years previous at the same location.

The right wing want the BBC destroyed and they are doing it from the inside, it reminds me of the number the right wing elites in this country did on Corbyn, they are now doing it on the BBC.

I disagree with what some are saying that because the media and our politicians are moving further and further right wing that it makes BBC seem left wing in comparison when they think they haven't moved from the centre, I disagree I think they have gone right wing because I'm all facts and figures and when the amount of coverage to the right wing causes and left wing causes are analysed they are very right wing, pro Conservatives, pro business over workers, pro royalty, pro union, pro Israel etc, in depth studies over many years now show its just not the amount of coverage they give right wing causes compared to left wing causes but the positive words and phrases they use when reporting right wing causes compared to the negative words and phrases they use to describe left wing causes.
