Strange. Been fine for me except for a bit of lagging early in the game.

Mmm, maybe. He made a great shoulder to shoulder challenge to win the ball just outside their area when they were threatening a counter. Came away with it Varane like.

Sounds like our last away game. Wouldn't turn my nose up at the same result TBH.
| Loveliest Town in England Match Thread on 20:40 - Nov 26 with 1403 views | BklynRanger | Really quite frustrated not to be ahead after that half. Some good play, Saito total livewire, Blackburn rank except for one scary moment. But only 1 out of 7 shots on target. | | | |

| Loveliest Town in England Match Thread on 20:41 - Nov 26 with 1391 views | charmr | Wasteful with the ball in their penalty area. Would like to see us go for it 2nd half not sure Stephan will. Watching it you want us to go for a win. Game ends in a loss can’t win. A draw rhetoric I would take before the game. Watching it seems like our attack is the best form of defense. | | | |

He’s making a lot more effort defensively, for sure. Tracks back and works much harder defensively. Good progress.

| Loveliest Town in England Match Thread on 20:43 - Nov 26 with 1300 views | 1BobbyHazell | Well apart from the fact we should be one down I didn't mind that half. We're the better team, a bit of nice, confident, concise passing getting us in to the byline. Bit concerned about Cook and Dunne getting caught in behind on the counter but really hope the half time message is we can have these, up and at 'em. | | | |
| Loveliest Town in England Match Thread on 20:43 - Nov 26 with 1292 views | BrianMcCarthy | Decent enough half. I don't like this style of football, but we could have scored from play and should (imho) have had a peno. | |

| Loveliest Town in England Match Thread on 20:45 - Nov 26 with 1211 views | actonman | Think we’re doing quite well and only for some bad cut backs or good defending , we should be winning ? Blackburn look awfull though and I assume will liven up 2nd half | | | |
| Loveliest Town in England Match Thread on 20:46 - Nov 26 with 1147 views | Toast_R | Started well but faded after 20 minutes and it looks like two poor teams battling for loose balls and half chances. Terrible watch tbh. Best chance fell to Blackburn in the end. Manager will no doubt re-start with same team and nothing positive will come of it until he makes the necessary changes up front. | Loveliest Town in England Match Thread on 20:47 - Nov 26 with 1134 views | Rsole | I think an early Kone sub would make a difference - physically - for us in the game. He makes more space for Buzz and that would be useful, plus he’s got a point to prove now. We could take the 3 points here if we have that ambition. Also like to see Kolli for more than 10-15mins. | Loveliest Town in England Match Thread on 20:47 - Nov 26 with 1079 views | stainrods_elbow | H/T. We really should have been a couple of goals ahead on the balance of our pleasing ball retention and approach play, but a lack of final quality in their box and/or over-elaboration at times has once again stymied us up top. Perhaps Julien needs to ask Nourry to open a Department of Efficiency. Especially without Kone, we look shot-shy to me, though Saito in particular, plus Dembele and Burrell, have all done OK. Equally, Blackburn had the match's outstanding chance, which Gudjohnsen really should have taken, so the width of the post keeps us on terms. That's the Championship! Depsite the manager's tediously nice pre-match words about Blackburn, they've lost 5 games at home, and we should come out in the 2nd half and get the job done, end of story. We at least look up for it, so let's show some balls and get our just desserts. My heart says we will, but my head says we might end up going home with our tails between our legs and the warm sanatorium of 16th bricking itself up around our silly pink shirts. | Loveliest Town in England Match Thread on 20:48 - Nov 26 with 1063 views | ericgen34 | I'm quite heartened by this half, we are the team that seems to always play against us. I mean we seem to get out of head tennis with the ball, we then mostly manage to make a few passes on the ground, we seem to recover from loss of the balls in dangerous areas, and we manage to get into the opposition penalty area. Carry on like this, the 3 points are there for the taking Edit - and yes we should deffo have had a peno for the fowl on Saito [Post edited 26 Nov 20:50]
