Doesn't sound like he was recalled, statement says they used an option to terminate the loan early. Strange one, I thought he was doing well there - maybe they have lined someone up to sign permanently.

How many do we need. Linked with Bristol city one too..

Great shot stopper but shorter than Nardi. Not sure we have a clear number one keeper and I think we need to recruit in the summer.

Would love Walsh to prove me wrong, but I think Ben Hamer is the safest current choice. Never convinced with Nardi and I think teams can target him.

Are we gonna play with two keepers from now on?

Sounds odd given MC is 6ft 1" but I think he's too short to be a top notch keeper.

Barnsley are reportedly plotting a loan move for Crystal Palace goalkeeper Owen Goodman. He's 6ft 4".

I'd go with Hamer and Walsh for the remainder of the season.

I'm not convinced he's that tall. đź‘€

I just looked on their forum, it seems a 50/50 split between those who thought he did OK and those that didn't rate him.

There have been several photos in the past of Cooper standing alongside other players with him on tiptoe. That seems to suggest he feels his height is an issue.

Why wouldn’t it be?Of all the lies and false information spread throughout the world, the height of our 4th choice keeper wouldn’t be top of the list of misinformation.

Is that correct that with Hamer playing we have only lost once - Appreciate he's not played many times but thats pretty good

A friend of mine met him at one of the open training sessions some time ago and said he's definitely over 6 foot tall. He also said he's a bit of a unit. My friend is 5 foot 10 and thought Murphy was a good 3 inches taller than him.

Anyone who remembers John Burridge he was 5 foot 11. Great keeper. Not all about height. Paul Parker, central defender at 5 foot 5. Beat everyone in the air.

Never knowingly right.

Is it really relevant to compare today with 35-45 years ago? Games changed and continues to evolve to a game mainly for big units.

Whatever height he is, he's getting games under his belt, and now likely at Championship level. For a lad his age, that's a good thing.

Yes but he's not a keeper or one of those all in wrestlers in the penalty area.
