But I'll take the win. Onwards and upwards Saints!

Yeah but lots of positives today. I like the goalkeeper- 2 great saves and a clean sheet. Stephens, Wellington, Azaz, Flynn Downes all played really well.

But that's what happenes when we play attacking players and stop the.playing out from.the back and just attack. [Post edited 31 Jan 13:48]

That was a good solid performance. If only we had been playing 4 at the back months ago

Saints played very well. Stoke have only lost one of their last 6 games, and they've beaten some good teams, as you can see here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/fo [Post edited 31 Jan 14:36]

We won, who cares. Let’s face it being a Leicester fan has to be a bummer. Around 10 years ago they won the premiership and qualified for the Champions League. Now they’re losing at home to basically a 3rd division team….. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Exactly, its about winning, however Stoke played poorly because we got the ball and used it well, they played into our hands and we handled them in the main easily. We played well and because of that Stoke didn't get going and didn't, even Mark Robins admitted that after the match. Sometimes you just have to bask in the enjoyment of winning a game and winning it well and not look for negatives

Agreed solid performance today tho they were poor Interesting that our real wobble was when Tonda subbed Leo and Ross a very poor choice Our keeper is a big upgrade on Baz That ref was crap

Not a clue, why he keeps taking Sciensa off. He never looks tired to me. Sciensa looked p!ssed off too when he was taken off. [Post edited 31 Jan 15:34]

Yes those players you mentioned, they did play very well . That’s the best I’ve seen Jack Stephens play.m in a saints shirt. That tackle he made at the start was fantastic saved a certain goal. I’m surprised no ones mentioned that through ball from THB to Fellows which led to the goal. Brilliant pass.

Agree Jack played well today and that ball from THB was great I like our new keeper too he has a presence about him that we have lacked plus what a save first half

And Fellows playing wide right instead of as a defender helped a lot too!

Flynn and Wellington were my men of the match today. Good solid team performance all round. Just seen a stat that if the season had started when Tonda took over we'd be 6th.

Obviously wins make the world of difference. But Tonda has turned us around again, after a bad run of results, he has changed to a much better style of play and he has the team playing well at times, particularly today. He is inexperienced, but has a lot more about him than Will Still and some.of the performances are really good, even if inconsistent. But we shall see, if we finish the season strongly and impressively or not. A long old drive, but well worth it I would imagine. Then Saints fans sounded good today [Post edited 31 Jan 21:11]
