Jesus, this Chelsea game must be the most boring match I have ever seen. Really sad that this is what football has become at the highest level. Absolutely interminable.

It's great to see, but it's a no brainer really. You can go to QPR, pay £25 for a ticket, stand up, and watch some old school football in an old school ground with no VAR with your mates.

How much would it cost 10 lads, 16-18, to go together to Chelsea or Arsenal and watch their next game?

QPR have marketed that really well under Nourry and our ground is full every week.

I have seen this at non league with even Hampton developing a loyal teenage following. It has also coincides with some rather silly wannabe hooligan behaviour from some teams. Saw a 16 year old oppo fan offer out to a 10 year old at Hampton recently!! Bigger problems with actual crowd trouble elsewhere. Chelmsford etc.

I saw the highlights of the Man City V Newcastle 2nd leg and that looked like the complete opposite of the Arsenal Chelsea borefest.

Both teams went out to score goals Newcastle to get them back in the tie and City to take them clear. It could easily have ended in double figures.

Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior on what he thinks is his best XI: "I got asked this question not long ago - I don't have a best XI. I have a best starting team and a best finishing team. I don't think best XIs are the way to go. I'm learning about the group all the time. They know the journey I want to go on with them."

He really is David Brent.

Agreed.

"Starters" and "finishers"....

Drivel.

"The opposite of love, after all, is not hate, but indifference."
Poll: Player of the Year (so far)

Eddie Jones started this phrasing when he took charge of the England rugby team and since then football managers have started trying to use it, and for some reason its just really annoying.

You could just say "I don't have a best XI, I have a squad of 25/30 and they all have a part to play depending on the game" and you don't sound such a modern-speak pillock.
