I find it fascinating that our feelings against Bosingwa are stopping him from being MoM in this match. Yes, Townsend played quite well, but our RB did a lot more, in attack, set plays and defence. Also don't forget he played a major part in Remy's goal. Are we going to see Taarabt again?

Solid defence from Samba and Hill. We started to have some effort from midfield in regard to scoring, that is where the goals should be coming from with the odd one from Samba from set pieces. Things are certainly looking up.

Agree, another good game from Bosingwa, good on him for turning his play around. Park and M'Bia solid up the middle (well done Stephane, no yellow card this game). Two goals from the wingers, and Hoilett almost made it three. Very positive. It's ideal timing for Townsend and Jenas to get a confidence boost as the dogfight heats up. Remy clinical again; the man can strike.

Well done lads, "the gel" seems to have set at last, and the dressing room should be buzzing with two wins on the trot. Now go after Villa!

If we are looking a better team without Taarabt, it is because Hoilett and others are now contributing. With Adel the others seem to just sit back and let him do all the work. Park looks like a lightweight 12 year old, there must be a better solution.

What joy after all the crap that we have had to endure this season. It was like watching a different team at times. Hoilett and Townsend were both excellent. We seemed to give the ball away less often when playing out of defence. Still not entirely convinced with Zamora - he does not seem to win many of those high balls pumped forward that he is supposedly there for. For me, man of the match has to go to Jose Bosingwa- I think that it takes some balls to come back and play well after his previous misdemeanours.I though he was often responsible for the good play the ball out of defence. (For me this is the key difference in the premier league, a defender cannot just boot that ball out of defence - he has to find one of his team mates). Also one fabulous piece of defending in the 2nd half when he shepherded a Sunderland player out over the touchline when he could have dived in.
Now there is hope where there was none!

Miss seeing Adel out there but have to agree with Melaka. Communications and possession have arguably been better without him. He's this tornado whirling through the pitch and nobody seems to know where it's going to veer and deposit the ball. Great things may happen and giveaways too. Surely there must be a role for him, but how is he going to break into this midfield that's been doing so well lately?

Good performance, just lacked the goals today. midfield completely dominated again. Lambert seems to be a bit tired at the moment, his body language looks different to me.
Boruc had a very solid game and it does help having a keeper who can catch crosses. No disrespect to Davis but Boruc seems to have a bigger presence in the box which I think takes some pressure off the back four. Never a penalty, not much more you can say about that. Gaston needs to improve. He is so controlled on the ball but i feel he could be doing so much more. Jay Rod is getting better every game and I think his pace is needed at the moment. Lets not forget how young some of these players are still. Shaw, Clyne, Gaston, JRod, etc…..even cork, Morgan and Lallana are still developing.
Great support again from the away fans. I think the support is what will carry us over the finishing line. Keep getting behind them, 6 points from Liverpool and Chelsea!

Rodriguez is improving and played well today tried hard made good runs down the channels but should work now on his finishing all next week he could have won it for us ..We have to get points this month in March or we could be back in the bottom 3 come April.

Gaston needs to pick it up and start repaying the fee we paid hes not delivered only in glimpses all season and been off the pace for most games .

Cork and Schneiderlin again were excellent . Kept us with a good shape protected the back four as always and link up and get up to support the attackers always and reduced Norwich to very little and kept Snodgrass and Johnson very quiet .
They get through so much work .Break up so much play and cover every one else on the pitch .We really are lucky to have them in there every game .If they dont play you see the difference immediately .

Ricky did ok but as someone said was marked out of it by the excellent Turner.
Hes still a class act gets through a mountain of work each game is so intelligent in all he does and has to be close to an England call up ..Great vision and has that Sheringham brain sometimes too quick for those around him .

Adam is trying to hard i think, maybe to impress Ponch who maybe doesnt see what weve seen the last 3 - 4 years from lala and maybe thinks Ponch doenst seem convinced he has what Ponch wants . .

Center halves did ok .

Luuuuuuuuuke is immense going forward ...a 10 million price tag already(Arsenal ) at 17 but still can learn on his positional play when defending .But he is 17 ,ok !
Was it a Pen ?
yes!

Yoshida good couple of saving tackles .Going forward my Nan (93) could have crossed better than he did trying to pick out any of our forwards .

Ging Gang ..never been a fan ,hes not Prem quality. He was poor when he came on and dint give us anything different in his play .

Goalie . Great job Great save great point at least in the 92 nd minute to stop a Pen Woohoo.... You got and earned us a point anything less would have been a robbery the way we played and took the game to Norwich .

Overall we played really well as we have every game since Ponch came in .

I didnt think we pressed as much today and saved energy and didnt look as vulnerable or tired in the last 10 minutes as we have the last few months .We seemed to pick and choose when we pressed high or middle of the park and we benefited from that today .

But we have 6 points from 21 since ponch came in ..Its not enough .We need a decent March haul of points or we could go into April in the bottom 3 which will be hard to get out of when we play some tough games from then til mid may .
we need 10 points from somewhere from our last 9 at the rate we are scoring we wont get there..
We have to win at Reading beat West Ham @home and win one more and one draw somewhere .

QPR are going to have bumper month and claw back the gap to be within a point at least if not off the bottom by end of March .

Wigan are like us play good football and can beat top teams on their day .But they know how to stay up they have done it before .

Villa are good going forward but cant stop conceding and Reading are down out and own unless they can get a win or 2 quick have lost all momentum..

We have to win that one at Reading its now A MUST WIN AWAY !

But again I come back to the same question .If Punch doesnt start today @ Norwich why didnt we bring him in on instead of Ging Gang ?????
What did he do wrong and why didnt he play ?

I think that was a performance we've been waiting all season to see, especially you guys who go week in week out. I watched it on 'Football first' last night and it was a vast improvement all round - we actually looked like a 'team', reasonably comfortable in defence and actually quite menacing going forward.

I'm a fan of Adel but sometimes you have to think of the team and not an individual trying to do everything. I'm sure he'll be picked for upcoming matches against teams where Harry feels his presence will be needed.

Any result away at Villa next week and its game on!

It was just fantastic to have a cohesive unit of a team and carry a threat all game, and to see us score goals again was wonderful. Mbia stayed on his feet mostly and he and park actually worked pretty well in the middle, just giving protection and giving the ball simple and quickly to get the wide men involved. Lets hope we carry it on to Villa now.
