its almost a relief that's over, we all need a holiday.
Harriman had a very good game, well done , quite agree with Melaka re Zamora but frankly we have hardly had a forward worth his place this year with the exception of Remy, really sorry to see Townsend go.
Clint Hill solid performance most of the year and Ryan Nelson sorely missed.

A strange game, not a 4-1 mauling that will be in print tomorrow, some great work and long periods of dominance during the game. However, out thought again tactically by Moyes, but alarmingly some schoolboy defending cost us this game. How RVP was allowed so much space and time I don't know. On times we were carved open with ease, some excellent showings today from Canas, Britton and Dyer I wish Bony, Hernandez & Ki had played the whole game as they looked threatening once they came on.
Lots of positives from the game, but very concerned about our defence today.
Onwards and upwards after a difficult opening fixture

QPR had the opportunities and the class to win this easily but the finsihing just wasnt there. In the end it took great last minute goal to seal the points-good to see one of the youngsters get an opportunity
Green played well despite the barrakcjing from the away fans. Nedum was a towering prescence and Dunne showed his expereince but why was Clint a left back?
Barton again showed his class -hope we keep him until Xmass anyway. We had the edge in this game and its 3 points in the bag but we need more creativity-quickly . Liked ONeils contribution and is a shrewd buy

I do think that the 4-1 scoreline flattered Man Utd. At the end of it the stats show very little differences between the two sides (yeah I know bar the one that mattered) but they took their chances with clinical ease when it mattered whilst our chances were either saved or blocked.

We still have a tendency at times to pick the wrong option and even trying to score the perfect goal but there was more than enough in the game to suggest that there is another good season ahead.

Big positive for me was Bony who played excellently when he got onto the pitch and he took his goal like the striker we all want him to be. A few silly defensive mistakes didnt help but we will bounce back from this and there will be sides completely outclassed by Man Utd this season. Something that we weren't

The final third of the pitch is where the difference told between the teams. At the end of the day we didn't defend well enough against one of the top forwards in World football.

Still, it's early days and there's enough positive signs to suggest that it'll be another decent season.

It was slightly disappointing not to see Bony on the team sheet but hopefully we'll see a lot more of him,he took his goal very well too.

On yesterdays showing we will be beating the lesser sides out of sight and we should be looking to another good season.

QPR played fantastically. A few chances wasted, but all in all it was a good performance. Ipswich gave us a challenge with some great challenges and chances. It was up and down attack wise. Ipswich had a chance, then the ball got cleared up the fielde and QPR had the chance. Player ratings?
Robert Green - 9 - made some fantastic saves throughout the game and was very tactical aware.

Danny Simpson - 9 - Simpson put in a solid performance whipping in the crosses, playing in some fantastic balls and putting in some crunching tackles.

Richard Dunne - 10 - Absolutely brilliant performance in his first game at Loftus Road as a QPR player. Put in some life saving tackles, very strong and lead the back line. Had a few chances at goal too.

Nedum Onuoha - 8 - Onuoha was a bit quiet here and there. He put in some good tackles, played a few good passes and was decent in the back

Clint Hill - 8 - Good performance from our captain today. Good tackles, ran up the wings to attack a bit and had a few chances.

Joey Barton - 9 - Great performance from Barton today. Put in some great passes and very good, risky tackles too.

Shaun Wright Phillips - 8 - SWP had a decent performance. Great skill, great passing, great speed, but got a bit Adel Taarabtish near the end. Didnt pass much near the end and his confidence went a bit high trying to take on everyone.

Karl Henry - 8 - Good performance from Henry today. Was solid and lead the midfield and put a few balls into the attack today.

Junior Hoilett - 9 - Surprising performance from Hoilett today. Was the complete opposite player he was last year in the Premier League. Fabulous skill amd great runs off the ball and great crosses into the box leading to a few chances. Had a few great shots on goal too.

Bobby Zamora - 4 - Terrible performance again from Zamora. Forgot he was on the field at one stage in the game. We were really missing out on AJ today. Zamora didnt get stuck in, he didnt get the ball much. Dont even think he got a shot on goall. He made a few terrible passes too.

Charlie Austin - 8 - Decent by Austin today. Got loads of shots on goal but could'nt convert them.

We seemed to do okay for the first thirty minutes but once Man Utd had scored twice in two minutes, heads dropped and the result was a foregone conclusion. The end result was very disappointing as Man Utd hardly broke sweat and played in merely second gear. The match showed the huge gap between the top teams and the others.
I hope we can improve on what was in fact a hammering!

We eased off towards the end which - whilst understandable - was disappointing to watch but overall another totally professional performance that will see us through to the group stages and some lucrative displays. Disappointed with the crowd given its a European fixture but some good performances again on the pitch - would love to see Pozuelo start on Sunday, there is some real class about him

Watching through dodgystream.com, it definitely felt like a first game of the season at home. Crucially unlucky at the start for their goal. Most of the possession, most of the shots, at least 2 headers that went straight at their keeper.

It'll improve over a couple more games. We just need a little more concentration and maybe a little luck. That's 2 goals now that have been ruled out so it's the little details that could have meant another 2 goals so far.
