Noel Bowles? You'd like to think his parents would have the sense not to call him that. Rival fans would have had a field day with that name and so would the kids at school
I thought Hoos was largely against the idea, I wonder what changed his mind?
They asked fans what they wanted and most voted in favour of this idea. The legends stand is what i suggested to them years ago, glad they are doing it will be really good

Not that big a deal and glad some people who probably care more about it than me are happy but I preferred the stands being named after the roads + school end.
Does this mean the loft end will be called the legends stand then or will it just have pictures of legends in it? If the actual name is changing than that is rubbish.

Nice touch , shame he won’t ever really get to appreciate it and soak in that adulation one more time
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Don't think he was really against it just that people were telling him different things and as we have seen on here already with comments about The Legends stand v The Loft, you can't please everyone.
Even if it is The Legends stand, it will still be the Loftus Road end and we will still refer to it as The Loft, in the same way as most of us still refer to the ground as Loftus Road, whilst respecting the name change to Kiyan Prince Foundation as well.
Come to a solution after lots of consultation and delay. Let's support the club.

As a diehard 'Rodney man', I'm delighted to see this finally come about. I happily accept there are more ''Stanley Rs' so this is the right decision. As long as Rodney is acknowledged in the Legends Stand, I'll be happy.

There was this little dot. The dot went bang. The bang expanded. Energy formed into matter. Matter cooled. Matter lived. Amoeba to fish. Fish to mammal. Mammal to monkey. Monkey to man. Man to footballer.
Footballer to Stan Bowles.
Happy Birthday Stan.

Cheers for those videos, I am too young to have seen Stan play but he's still an integral part of my QPR experience. My dad and uncles used to go on non stop about him, which my brothers and cousins and I listened intently. Although it did annoy hearing about the great Stan Bowles coming after a loss. My grandad didn't rate him so highly, he thought he was extremely Lazy but I suppose that was a generational thing. Although he named both the ER and SAF after him long before I was born in 1978. The Ellersie Road Stan and the South Africa Road Stan. I miss him Merry Christmas allðŸ»
In all honesty i would prefer the Gerry Francis Stand.Local boy, came through the ranks to captain our best ever side and then captain England.A great manager for us as well and of course a great player.
