Ironically, the response to his comments about one Bard, spring forth the words of another: me thinks he has been hoisted by his own petard .

| Rayan Kolli on 14:26 - Aug 18 by denhamhoop2 | Would expect Willock to play as a false number nine in a 5 3 2 basically replacing Dykes in last weeks starting line up Kolli to be on the bench as I would think he impressed GA with his movement on Wednesday night |
Is a 'false number nine' what we used to call a 'deep-lying centre forward'? I saw Tom Finney play that role once - most effectively. Also saw Peter Osgood, for a team that we try not to mention, in roughly that position, have a big influence on a game at Loftus Road. Finished 0-0, though.

Got called up to the Algeria senior team.

I have to say he looked quite emotional as the crowd were singing his name. I like him a lot . He brings an energy to the team . A shame he hasn’t got much chance this season. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
| Rayan Kolli on 17:12 - Nov 23 with 1579 views | Logman | He played well when he came on and was ideal in the conditions and the game going from end to end. Hopefully, the penny will drop with JS that, as Marti demonstrated last year, two or three of the Devt Squad justify game time in the 1st team. | | | |

Hear, hear to this. That cameo of his in the second-half illustrates his undoubted ability: good cross for Burrell that was well defended and the scoring opportunity. I also liked how he dropped deeper on occasions to make himself available as a passing option for the player in possession. Here's hoping he and Morgan get more meaningful minutes. Like you say, he brings an energy to the team alongside his game intelligence that belies his young years. [Post edited 23 Nov 21:26]

My preference is Kolli over Frey as an attacking option. But it's gonna be tough on some very good players not even making the match day squad.

Luckily for Jools, Frey isn't a very good player!

What I likes was the fact that JS decided to have Kolli and Burrell on together. They combined well. For whatever reason I'd always assumed it would be either one of Koni/Frey and one of Burrell/Koni.
