Well that was well annoying! Especially around Bazunu, as him and Bednerak were both outstanding today, and Bazunu did some great saves and long balls, but that mistake at the end had kinda removed most of the praise he’d got from before then.
But even then we just can’t seem to put many games to bed and it’s why we can’t seem to keep up with Leicester and Ipswich. But still unfortunately todays draw was a fair result as we had the chances for the second half, whilst it was the first half that they had there’s.

Although at the same time a 12 game unbeaten run ain’t exactly the worst, but unless one of Ipswich or Leicester have a major slip up soon, well the highest I can see is finishing now is 3rd, and then we’ll have the playoffs to deal with. Which is even more annoying for how we’d be in a auto spot for most other seasons in the championship

12game unbeaten run and we haven’t gained a single point on Leicester

"Play-offs are the best we can hope for. That was the aim before the season started"

That's not the message I was hearing at the start of the season. I seem to remember that the owners wanted promotion and we're falling well short of that currently.

Maybe I should have added that was MY aim for the club - despite what the owners may have said. I doubt they could say anything other than getting promoted was the clubs' aim in all honesty! The same was probably said by two thirds of the owners of Championship clubs back in late Summer.

1-1 against a very good and physical Watford is a good result, especially away from home.
Still keeps us right in the play off hunt.
Very happy tonight.

We went defensive for the last 5 mins plus injury time and invited them to attack.

Deja vu

Yet more points dropped

What annoys is RM saying they will learn from previous games, but we clearly haven't.

It's great that we are still on a 12 game unbeaten run, but we are actually falling back from the 3 teams we are chasing !!

Exactly this
Took off Stuey then conceded
We Missed downes today, Charles gives it away easily

Hoedt WAC

Wussell making the same poor subs

Indeed. they're a good side on a very decent run. Just like Huddersfield away the other week, 1-1 was a fair result after all is said and done.

We gained a point on the hunting pack just below us today with both WBA and Hull losing to cement a play-off place.

Was at the game, on the coach and a draw was just about a fair result. Today was a tough test and we aren't looking like ruthless champions. Holding on for a one nil win was a mistake. We did the same against Rotherham. We arn't killing teams off but part of that is buying Stewart instead of Piroe. It's looking more and more likely we will end up in the play offs.

Yep me too and a draw was probably fair BUT as you say the purchase of a goalscorer in the summer and we would be top 2

As for this from the bbc

But former Milton Keynes Dons striker Healey, who returned to England in the summer after a spell with French side Toulouse, scored his first Watford goal when Bazunu dived over his first-time effort after Bayo's headed down Ryan Porteous' punt forward.

What keeper does that!!? I know he made A good save ina. One in one but he has a mistake in him. Every game

The negativity on here is hilarious. 12 games unbeaten and with not even half the season gone we are firmly in the play off positions. Given the mess we were in when we went down I reckon most people would have taken this position going into the Christmas games. Get Stewart playing and strengthen that midfield and there is no reason we can’t make a push for the automatic spot. Cheer up ffs.

Even if we go up via the play-offs, play that style of football in the Prem and it's straight back down!!

Yeah why be negative about sitting on a one nil lead AGAIN and conceding a late equaliser AGAIN after making poor subs AGAIN

And yes let’s get Stewart fit - I mean that’s not happening soon is it

Let’s buy a striker on Jan 1

I don't have any problem with controlling the game and keeping possession but it's often too f@cking slow. It's not aggressive enough, keep possession but pile forward more and be aggressive. You're right we would get torn apart in the prem playing like this.

I can see what RM is trying to do, but as you say it is too slow and players seem scared (or are told not to) take a risk and pass the ball forward at pace, Scoring 1 goal then trying to control the game will fail more times than it works

Manning played OK today.

12 games unbeaten which I believe is our best record for 100 years .

1st half we never really threatened them and were probably fortunate to go in goalless .

2nd half we , especially for the 1st 25 mins or so we attacked with a lot more purpose and took a deserved lead. I thought Che took the goal well ( let’s hope it’s given him a lot of confidence) .

Watford then came into a bit and a couple of good saves by Bazunu , however he has always got that mistake in him and it should have been a routine save for Watfords equaliser. I thought he had saved it at 1st then saw the ball go into the net .

Still we have opened a gap the last few games from ourselves and 7th .

All the saves Bazunu made were routine for a goalkeeper.
Any professional goalkeeper should be saving the shot that became their equaliser.
No ifs, no buts.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

Routine? That first half one on one looked top class from where I was.

I’d expect any professional goalkeeper to be doing that even Alex McCarthy.

Likewise, I’d expect any professional forward to beat a goal keeper in that situation (Shane Long aside!)

4 touches that were passes with an 100% completion.
Leave him alone.
He is struggling to adapt to life in England as it is.
Such hurtful comments will only make it worse.

I don’t know about you, Wiz, but I just wanted to get home after the game last night.

Too pissed off to think about going in a bar on the way home.

At least Sekou was able to put the disappointment behind him.
