I'm sure a post of this nature has been done before.

But as QPR fans we more or less have roots to West London and its suburbs.

Which Schools did you all go to? Fond memories etc or the contrary?.

I went Douay Martyrs in Ickenham, had no other choice due to moving to the area.... not a fan of the school but the time of my teen hood was okay and I had a laugh.

Interested to hear bout everyone else's schools.

Colville Primary - Notting Hill

Secondary
North Westminster - Paddington Lower House - Elgin Avenue
North Westminster - Upper School - now the area would be called Paddington Basin!

Smattering of Rs in both schools

St Joseph's Primary in Wembley until we moved to Eastcote when I was 7
St Swithun Wells in South Ruislip for rest of my primary years
Cardinal Vaughan in Holland Park for secondary - also found out that the QPR club DJ for the last 22 years was in my form at Cardinal Vaughan too.

The OP is ex-Douay Martyrs as are my 3 girls and my wife works there - very good school now and oversubscribed which it wasn't back in the day.

Poll: With no leg room, knees killing me, do I just go now or stay for the 2nd half o?

BWI in Ruislip and then Bishop Ramsey C Of E in Ruislip, possibly the worst school uniform (cream and brown) in the UK and being a QPR fan didn’t lead to happy childhood in a street full of Chelsea fans.

Perrin Road, Sudbury - but for only a couple of years.

Was in the St John's Ambulance Brigade at that establishment and, if that wasn't riveting enough, Drew Garro who ran the org. lived across the street from there.

Grew up on the White City estate.

Went to a kindergarden/junior school there now called the Beresford early years centre and the to St Stephens on the Uxbridge road, until my parents moved to Kent when I was about 7/8 I think.

There was a fire in Phipps house, we moved around that time, would have been about 1983/4

I went to St Stephens, a bit before your time though.

Miles Coverdale School. Shockingly, given how close the school is to HQ, I was the only one who followed the Rs in my class, the rest of the kids followed Liverpool or whoever was winning the FA Cup that year. This is standard practice with younger kids I know, but looking back I'm still shocked that not one other child was an Rs fan. And we used to get free tickets to go as well every now and again, happy days.

Miles Coverdale until 1967 then Clement Danes until 1971. Plenty if Rs fans at both.

Used to drive past Douay every day on my way to work - for some reason it struck me as super Catholic and strict.

I also wondered who they were!

St Andrews Infants school, Belton Road, Willesden.
St Andrews Junior schools, St Andrews Road, Willesden.
John Kelly Secondary Modern school, Crest Road, Neasden.

So far as I know only the infant school survives with a change of name to St Andrews and St Francis.

John Kelly is still there but has been the Crest Academy for years. I grew up minutes away by the park.

Mora and then Gladstone Park Primary for me (a smart transfer decision as we won the Brent Schools league and cup twice in the 90s thanks to a lad called Phil Ifill who went pro through Spurs.)

Hampstead School for secondary (sounds a lot fancier than Cricklewood Comprehensive.) Left in 2005 and we had quite a few Rs in the school.
