I think it’s really difficult.
Without having the full information to share, is it better to share what the authorities have in the knowledge that if you don’t, snippets are going to get out anyway?

It’s understandable in a way, they know the tension in the country is at a breaking point and if this does turn out to be yet another immigrant who shouldn’t be here there could be a major backlash. You can understand their caution. And perhaps they are waiting for official conformation from the police before publishing this sort of thing. But journalism should present the facts as they are, and eye witends accounts shouldn’t be carefully edited. They had one witness on last night who was talking about all the blood and chaos and violence, when he was asked what the perpetrators said he quoted a swear word and was cut off immediately. It’s mad that you can talk about such violence but swearing is too much.
A major part of the problem we are seeing now is that certain groups seem to be protected even when they commit the most heinous of crimes. It gives the impression of a cover up. | |

The British Public have been gaslit by the government on the immigration issue for decades and are angry. By further gaslighting them and trying to sweep the issue of criminal acts under the carpet and withholding or providing misleading critical information they are stoking that anger.
The only ones speaking the truth are the dissenting right who haven't got the power, at least not yet, to take practical and unprecedented action on the problem.
You all saw Farage trying to get the ECHR bill through the Commons and how that disgusting smug cabal of Lib Dems managed to drag their vapid arses out of the Commons subsidised Bar to heckle and jeer with that f**knugget Davey pontificating to the House. It's tossers like them that are the obstacle in dealing with violent, criminal scum that shouldn't be on our streets.
Personally I think it's going to take some sort of coup d'etat by disgruntled ex-military and forces veterans to remove the Blob and the Uniparty from wrecking this country beyond recognition. It's why people are drawn to Reform as they are the only practical hope of a bloodless non-violent solution via the ballot box, but can we stomach another 4 years of these horrors which now seem to happen on an almost daily basis ?
