FA Cup v West Brom 07:42 - Jan 2 with 1676 viewsbuilthjack

Ticket sales very slow. Only 4000 sold including hospitality.
We will probably get 12/13000 sold once people wake up from Xmas.
Only 2 stands have been made available, a lot of people in the south were saying yesterday that they would prefer to stay in their usual seats so haven’t bought.
Let’s wait and see.

Are those numbers including or excluding away tickets. Even in the West and East there was not a time window to reserve your seat which is not ideal. Playing the same opposition twice in 10 days hasn't helped. Throw in many players will be rested after the busy Christmas period and the general lack of interest in the FA Cup unless you get a "glamour" tie and the slow sales are understandable.

Might give them an opportunity to see the game from a different angle. The view from the South Stand lower level is not great especially to the far goal.

To be honest ,the game hasn't exactly been heavily advertised, it was only yesterday my mate next to me reminded me that the game was on.

Disappointing given recent form and the pricing of the tickets £10 for adults & £1 for u14. Also noticed that we had the lowest crowd in the division for yesterday’s match v WBA (Blackburn attendance not published). The club deserves better support but the marketing & advertisement continues to be p poor. TV coverage definitely impacting our attendances

West Brom have sold just about 200.

West Brom won't be selling any more after yesterday's performance. On the other hand, we may well have added an extra 1,500 ticket sales as our home wins continues to extend the run.

As I recall from a Swansea Independent article on him was that he's not an overnight game-changer type of manager, that it'll take a while for his methodology to get up and going. Maybe their fanbase didn't or doesn't know this?

£8 for a senior, cracking value for the money. Despite only playing them a couple of days ago that was then ,this is now.

Just bought four tickets for £29 including one for my 10
year old grandson at £1. Well done Swansea City. Still
something special about the FA Cup for me.

Let’s hope we have a late rush on tickets for this.
Tickets between £10 and £1. Cheap as chips, Sunday afternoon k.o.
Yet only 4,500 sold.

I thought I read somewhere that it was to be shown live on TV (though I couldn’t see the appeal to the wider viewer) but I can’t see it so I must have dreamt this up?
