Bar Ross Stewart's header straight at the keeper in the first half, we've been poor in front of goal. So disappointing... and a wasted opportunity tonight to make up ground.

we have been on a good run but we miss too many chances that could win us games, we have to be more clinical

He's no super striker but he gives it his bloody all! Shame as i was just tee'ing up my Agent Eckert post for allowing WBA to close the gap on the haddock botherers.... [Post edited 11 Mar 21:44]

We were saved by the subs tonight. A terrific cross from substitute Edozie onto the head of substitute Larin. I'll happily take the point. We looked burnt out tonight and things won't get any easier with another game in just 60-odd hours time away at the league leaders.

We look so ordinary without Leo. Fellows is a total waste of space, he's lightweight, lacks commitment & very predicable. He's bad enough on the right & even worse on the left. Ño, I don't rate home at all.

I agree Add to that home games against two in form teams in Norwich and Oxford will be a real test It's what makes this league really interesting, Boro had 78% possession at home to Charlton and lost, you can't really predict many results, apart from QPR losing

We also missed Leo. He just always seems to be a target for opposition ad they know he's our biggest threat

| West Brom Game Matchday Thread on 22:41 - Mar 11 with 609 views | Southamptonfan | After that huge win on Sunday, all that energy, to have another away game a few days later at a club fighting to survive with a new manager, it was always going to be difficult. But we got a result even though it was a poor performance. It could be a vital point, as 3 points from Wrexham means we overtake them if we beat them up there. Our playoff hopes now rest on Wrexham slipping up a few more times. We just have to see. We are unbeaten in 11 games and through to the FA Cup quarter finals. All the damage was done in those first 12 games under a certain Mr Still. Hopefully Sciensa isn't out for too long, as that is a worry. | |

'A world away from the pace of Saturday' No wonder we looked knackered / hungover tonight, with a game on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday !! The whole team were jaded, perhaps complacent, and thought the goals would come - even though nobody took the initiative to shoot !! Charles and Downes as the CM pairing reminded me of the Still days and to be honest, we played like a Still team to an extent tonight.

| West Brom Game Matchday Thread on 08:43 - Mar 12 with 299 views | HytheFerrytales | I got a bit queasy after the Cup game...the positivity dial seemed to go up a couple of notches too many. Plenty of talk about play-off place in sight, free flowing exciting counter attack football, playing for the shirt like never before etc. Eckert starts getting interviewed by national press as well as local and is suddenly tipped to be poached by a top European club in the Summer. It just seemed to invite a sudden reality check...and we got one. We do have a very good team, an excellent manager and a real chance of the play-offs, but there's plenty of graft left to do this season. Last night was no disaster...shit happens...I love Larin, he knows his limitations but gives 110% of what he has. We got 2 points less than some thought we were entitled to prior the game, but got one point more than we looked like getting during the game. Bring on Fat Frankie Lampard. | | | |

And I wouldn't mind betting we get to the SF as well. Wouldn't mind that and just missing out of the play offs. Considering last season and the start of this season under WS, that would be a helluva achievement
