On loan at the moment, would you sign him permanently as is our intention given his limited game time/impact so far this season?

I believe the contract is already completed for the move and the loan was only an accounting exercise.

He looked lost on his start a few weeks ago. Underwhelming but he’s capable of better apparently.

We could do with better but hopefully he will improve.

Only seen him for a bit, you would think though he will get game time before the end of the season.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Same for Idah & Widell. Vipi last season is a good example.
We can only hope.

Is Idah out for the Season Keith or is he on way back do you know?

We could do with another option up front, I know he hasn't hit the ground running, but he's still an option to have etc.

I feel we have a lot of players who play in similar positions in a similar way and lack variation. Hopefully Walta will be different and be an out and out 10.

He has looked totally out of it.
€3.5 million euros seems excessive.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

It’s like pre-season for him so not to be judged this early maybe.

He has been with us a week short of two months, he needs to be showing something by now. The club is in a bit of a predicament, we need a strong end to the season to maintain momentum, but we really need to be playing Walta, Widell and Idah to see if they can cut it for next season.

It’s been a step up in class from what he’s used to at club level. He’s had a few International caps but the Championship is ranked amongst the best 6/7 leagues in Europe. He hasn’t adjusted yet. He might not either.

IMO , another unnecessary gamble
We needed a more robust player already up to speed at this level of football not one who “ might” make it
For a Finn , he’s tiny
Anyway , we will see

Incidentally Walta has two games in New Zealand this coming week one against the hosts and one against Cape Verde. Vigouroux is also playing for Chile in New Zealand. Hell of way to go for our players when we have a Friday game. Australia also have a couple of home games.

I sincerely hope hes going to be a success for us . The only reservation I have is his physique . I saw him on the pitch the other day and I had to look twice as I thought he was a youth player. He might become our David Batty , Billy Bremner or Barry Bannan but they were the exception rather than the rule. The championship is a very physical league you only have to think back to the likes of Chris Morgan of Sheff Utd to realise that.

I know that FIFA now pay a sum per player for all qualifiers etc, nations league, euros and World Cup not sure about friendlies but it’s money in the bank for the club. No big World Cup fee for Wales players though. But we will have three or more there ?

Stamenic captained New Zealand and Walta played for Finland in Finlands 2-0 win away. Walta played 90 minutes Stamenic got his standard yellow card.

Vigouroux played in the 4-2 win against Cape Verde.

Burgess is on the bench against Cameroon KO 09.10.

He must be decent, but I haven't seen anything to support it yet.

Walta must get some serious game time this season to get acclimated and ready for pe re season. He is a midfield goal scorer and Swansea do not have enough finishers.

From what you have seen him play live, what are your thoughts particularly his strengths and weaknesses that need to be improved to play in the Championship.

Agreed. Its nearly two months in and he played a full 90 minutes of international football earlier today so I don't accept that he is not match fit. He is not getting much game time here why? I have seen nothing in him yet is it the same with the coaching staff? I really hope he comes good as we are desperate for a natural 10, time will tell.
