Easy way to reduce the wage bill. Based on his performances last season he will be no great loss. I would go a step further and suggest that it would be a gamble to keep him as if his form did not improve his value would plummet. Never did believe that his poor form was down to lack of pre season training. It shouldn't take that long to get match fit. |  | | |

I too will only believe it when its on the Official web site.
This would be a strange move, as after the Everton match Tony was sure that Samba was staying next season and would be the backbone of the defence. Since then he has said that, if needs be, Samba was happy to stay and help us fight in the Championship.
So either Harry/Tony has changed the strategy or the reports are a load of old tosh.
Personally I was impressed with Samba to start off with but he actually got worse, not better and I don't think he's as good a player as his reputation suggests and certainly not worth the 12 million paid. So if the stories are true then maybe there are far better ways we can spend that £12 million and £60k a week.
